Delivery & Returns
Our delivery charges reflect the actual cost of packaging and shipping.
Within the UK & NI: We charge £1.49 for Standard delivery (2nd class) and only £1.99 for First Class deilvery via Royal Mail. You can also choose overnight delivery for £5.99. We use Royal Mail or UK Mail for overnight deliveries (depending on the location). Select your preferred delivery option at the time of checkout. For the Scottish Islands, we use the Royal Mail and do not charge anything in addition to our normal delivery charges. International orders are charges a flat rate of £5.99 Royal Mail to Europe and £8.99 to the USA, Please request a quote for other countries.
Processing: If we receive the order Monday - Friday before 3pm, we should be able to post it out that same day. If you aren't certain your order made our timeframes or have an urgent request, give us a call and we'll do our best to squeeze it in the bag. We are 5 minutes walk from the post office and our overnight courier is quite reliable and often does end of day pick ups.
Delivery Timeframes: For delivery timeframes to Europe, Royal Mail aims to deliver Airmail Small Packets (the method we send) to Western Europe within three days after posting, to Eastern Europe in four days and to countries outside Europe in five days.
-Return any unused item with the original packaging and we'll refund the purchase price of your order. Notice that we didn't say 30 or 60 days? That is because we don't place a limit on returns. If you bought it from us and decide you don't want the product, aren't satisfied, or got carried away, well then return it to us.
-There is no need to telephone or email us when sending a return. If you dont want an item(s), post it back to us. We recommend by recorded delivery and keeping proof of postage as we cannot be liable for items that do not make it to us. You will be liable to any charges incurred when returning the goods to thebead.co.uk, unless the return is as a result of an error on our side. We comply witht he distance selling regulations
-Once we've heard from you (i.e. receive your goods back) that you wish to cancel an order, any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to that credit or debit account within 30 days of your order, provided the goods you return are in a saleable condition.
- If you have used part of the goods, we are unfortunately not able to accept the return, so please do not send the unused portion(s) back to us.
-If you are in the European Union and you cancel your order within seven days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the price your were charged for the goods and the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If you paid for express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us. We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the seven days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order.
-This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty.
