 Precious Metal Clay Course (PMC3)PMC - or Precious Metal Clay is a wonderful medium to work with. It is a soft clay that when fired turns to 99.99% pure silver. This course is designed for beginners but even if you have silversmithing experience, you will also enjoy this class.
...If you have worked with polymer clay (Fimo, Sculpey)
...If you know how to work with Play Doh (don't we all?)
...then you can roll and cut and use PMC3 to make bespoke .999 Silver jewellery!
During this 4 hour course you will learn techiniques, how to prepare the clay, use texture mats and cutters, set gemstones, and fire, polish and burnish the clay. The end result is a beautiful piece of jewellery that you have designed. Materials and tools are provided for use during the course and you'll receive a 16gram packet of PMC3 as part of the course fee. Additional materials can be purchased on the day. The course is run once a month on Saturday afternoon.
